Youth Connections Art Exhibition

Over the past six months, our young artists have taken a journey of creativity, self-expression, and personal growth. Throughout the program with Youth Connections, they had the opportunity to meet and learn from artists in our community, explore different artistic mediums, and hear firsthand about the many career paths available in the arts.

In addition to developing their artistic skills, every participant completed Teen Mental Health First Aid certification, giving them the knowledge and tools to recognize when a peer may be experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis and understand how to respond, offer support, and connect them with trusted adults and resources.

At the heart of the program, our youth were challenged to create original art projects centered around teen mental health and the ideas, conversations, and lessons they explored throughout the program. What makes these pieces especially meaningful is that the young artists led the entire creative process. They developed and planned their concepts, pitched their ideas, selected and ordered their materials, and ultimately brought their visions to life.

What you see today is more than an art show, it is a reflection of their voices, creativity, growth, and ability to turn an idea into something real. We are proud to celebrate the work they created and, most importantly, the young artists behind each piece.

Apothecary Artists and Gallery is proud to help display their art as a small part of the program. Flyer
