I have recently painted a series of watercolor native plants and turned them into a square silk scarf. I’m a big fan of wearable and practical art in addition to fine art. I have tried pretty much any art material in the world, but painting is my absolute favorite. Some of my paintings become textile designs, while others, including my plein air landscapes in oil and watercolor, serve to capture the beauty of New England nature and remain fine art pieces.
